With Ease - Winter 2018 - 40-Day Daily Meditation

This meditation to Release Anxiety and Soothe the Nerves and the Mind is the one meditation which we will be practicing every day during the 40-day adventure.

During week 1, we will be practicing this for 3 minutes. 
During week 2, for 4 minutes.
During week 3, for 5 minutes.
During week 4, for 6 minutes.
During week 5, for 7 minutes.
During week 6, for 8 (or more) minutes.

In addition to your daily practice of this meditation, listen to the day's corresponding audio for each day's micro-assignment.

These are the 2 activities to be done each day.

PS. This meditation to release anxiety is especially great to do right before bedtime, since it helps to calm the nerves and mind. Enjoy!

FAQ

I've often heard I need to quiet my mind to meditate and I can't seem to quiet my mind. Can I participate?

Absolutely. Meditation isn't about having to quiet the mind, rather than creating a practice with breath and various tools and techniques where you create an environment where your mind and nerves relax. In this meditation practice designed to soothe the nerves, release anxiety and calm the mind, we use a hand position that incorporates acupressure point stimulation as well as a breathing technique which works together to create a soothing internal environment for the nerves and mind to relax.

How long is the meditation practice?

We will begin the meditation during the first week at 3 minutes a day. In week 2, we will add 1 minute, so it will be a total of 4 minutes. In week 3, we will add another minute, and so on. We are building ease into the practice so it's absolutely do-able for everyone.
